When Amanda first asked me to document their big day for them, I was thrilled they wanted me to be there, especially because I normally photograph babies & bellies, so this was a whole new adventure! The day began early at a hotel in Chilliwack, where Amanda & her gorgeous bridal party prepped for the day. Her husband-to-be, Sean & his groomsmen were just down the hall also getting ready, so I was able to capture some photographs of both parties preparing for the big day.
 

Once they were ready, Amanda and Sean decided to see each other before the ceremony, and met with their wedding party to witness his first glance of the bride. It was such a special moment for the both of them, and I could really see how much love they have for each other.
 

The ceremony took place at a nearby garden, and it was beautiful, but also a very hot summer day! After the ceremony, we then hit some nearby areas for some fun photos, before returning to the hotel for the reception. There was a delicious meal, followed by some great stories shared about the couple. Then the dancing was started by the couple's son, Landon and his cousin, and it wasn't long before the rest of the party joined in! Congrats to the happy couple, & thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!
